Check out this sweet engagement shoot we shot at the shooting range! Hahaha how many times can I use the words shoot/shot in a single sentence! Now that we are off to quite a tongue twister lets get back to the reason of why I was writing! I have been so excited to take their engagement pictures because Robert and Vanessa wanted it to take place at a shooting range since Robert works for the CHP. When they suggested the idea I was thrilled!
The other main reason why I was so excited was because nearly 10 years ago these two love birds decided to tie the knot without having a formal wedding. They were so in love with each other that they just wanted to get married without needing the big formal wedding which was tough to afford at the time. They always planned on having a big wedding where they could invite there friends and family in the future but after having 2 more additions (their two boys) to their family along the way the plans of having their dream wedding always got pushed back for the benefit of supporting their family instead. Vanessa has been so excited ever since our first meeting to have really nice professional photos taken of her and her wonderful hubby! Well 10 years later brings us to today and we couldn’t be happier with the way their photos came out!

Yikes, that’s a pretty BOLD shoot. Especially shooting down the barrel of a gun. yikes!! I don’t know if I am brave enough to do that. Looks like you guys had fun!
Such an awesome shoot. I love how you are able to bring their passion into the photos. I hope that the gun wasn’t loaded when you shot into it. I love the shot with the couple holding hands and a gun in their other hands. Looks like a fun shoot. Hopefully there wont be any guns at the wedding.
