Hong Kong Travel

I am so excited to be able to post these photos for you guys! Sorry it has taken so long to share with you all our trip to Hong Kong and China a couple months ago. With wedding season now at an end we finally had time to go through all of them!  Since there were so many photos that we loved we decided to break them up into two separate posts. So here are a few of our fav’s from our time in Hong Kong starting with this one taken from the plane. Also be on the look out for Ben and Erin’s wedding (the reason we got to go to Hong Kong in the first place) to be posted very soon! Enjoy!

hhk01.jpgWell after our 40 hours in transit we finally made it to our hotel and boy was it worth it!. Check out this shot from our hotel room overlooking Victoria Harbor Skyline!

hhk07.jpgThe first day we arrived , Ben and Erin, invited us to join them and the rest of their wedding party on a charted yacht to cruise the surrounding Hong Kong Islands! Needless to say we felt immediately welcomed!hhk02.jpghhk03.jpg

After our cruise was over we decided to head into the city to enjoy a bit of chaos!

hhk16.jpgOne of the craziest things about Hong Kong is that you have to be well equipped for the weather. We visited during monsoonal season so rain
just comes out of no where! And when it does it pours!!
hhk17.jpgHere’s Kristin enduring the climate! Check out the amount of rain!!

hhk19.jpgWe stumbled upon this really cool fish market..

hhk23.jpgI have no idea what this is on the left.. I thought it was photo worthy though 🙂hhk24.jpghhk25.jpg
hhk26.jpgEvery night at a certain time the skyline has a light show synchronized to music.
hhk27.jpg
hhk28.jpgLast but not least one of my favorite shots from the trip! I have never ever seen anything like this before. The lightening and thunder storms are i n s a n e ! Our room was lit up like it was in the middle of the day. This was taken at 3:00 am. I wanted to go out on the rooftop but the wifey wouldn’t let me.. Probably a good idea now that I think of it!

Wow! The pictures are amazing! (and you two are super cute) It was great working with you both in the rain last week–although it appears that you had quite a bit of practice in HK. I feel like Leo and I should take you guys to Korea when we go to visit!
