Charles and Anna – Elysian Hotel, Chicago

We were so thrilled when Charles and Anna first inquired about their wedding to take place at the GORGEOUS Elysian Hotel
in downtown Chicago. Kristin had never been to Chi town and it had been close to 10 years since I had a taste of a hot gooey slice of Giordano’s pizza…mmmm so good… But I digress. These two were telling us about the venue and what their vision for the day was and man were we excited! We had heard about how pretty the city was with scattered parks and
sitting areas nestled along side clean, modern and sophisticated high rise buildings. In addition to this we had recently heard that the Elysian Hotel was voted the number 1 hotel in America by US News! SO… Kristin and I were a bit above ecstatic and had set pretty high expectations for our trip!

I don’t know how it was possible, but after traveling through that charming city and meeting with the lovely couple for the first time all of our incredibly high expectations were greatly surpassed. Charles and Anna, you two are truly a joy to be around and a pleasure to be able to work for! Thank you for allowing us to take part in your very special day and trusting two photog’s all  the way from California! We feel very blessed! We hope you enjoy your photos as much as we do!
