Luke and Caitlin – Crozet, Virginia

Hi guys! Here is a wedding we shot last month in the warm and sunny state of Virginia! It had been years since I last visited this state and couldn’t remember very much other then its extreme humidity. Once we got off the plane and took a step outside I was pleased to know that my memory had not failed me! The moisture and temperature outside hit me like sack of bricks! The heat index for the time we were there was from the 115-120’s. So to say it was hot was an understatement! However once we started driving and passed through some of the country side we were immediately in love with the state. Between the rolling hills, countless streams and creeks we knew it was going to be a beautiful backdrop for a wedding. The wedding was held at the King Family Vineyards in Crozet, Virginia.

Luke and Caitlin were so fun to work with. Despite the heat and the circumstances that it brings these two were just beaming with love and excitement for their day! I don’t know too many people who would have been able to handle those conditions and still be able to keep a smile on their face the entire day! These two were so sweet and kind, you can just see their love for each other reflected in these photos. Luke and Caitlin thank you for being one the most calm and carefree couples we have had the pleasure of working for. You guys were such a joy to be around and were so blessed by the opportunity to visit your beautiful state! Enjoy!

Caitlin is the first to get married out of her 3 sisters. I just love these shots of Caitlin’s dads seeing her for the first time.

Also I just want to give a HUGE thank you to my buddy Matt of Chemistry of Light for helping me on this wedding. Kristin had already booked a vacation to Hawaii with her family (fair..?) so I was flying solo for this one and matt stepped it up BIG time so thank you thank you thank you! I know Luke and Caitlin loved having you there as much as me!
