Reflections – Machu Picchu

Recently I have been reflecting a lot on my life. Focusing on where I am today, where I came from and where I want to go in the future. I am so overwhelmingly blessed with this incredible life God has given me that I am left in complete awe and wonder. I have the most incredible wife, family, friends, job that anyone could ask for. Of course there have been some high highs and some low lows along the way but through it all I have grown and learned so much.

One of the things I have learned most recently is the importance of slowing down, reflecting and giving thanks and praise to the one and truly amazing God!

I love people, photography, and traveling. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be able to have a job that encompasses all my hearts deepest passions.

Kristin and I have been fortunate enough to see so many different parts of the world and to see so much beauty in God’s truly remarkable creation. So in this season of slowing down and giving thanks I wanted to commit to sharing one photo a week from our life experiences and more specifically from our travels. I hope these images get you excited about traveling. That they would stir in you a desire to get out and see what this world has to offer. That they would show you there is more to this life then just ourselves.

It has been a long time goal of mine to see Machu Picchu in person and step foot on the original Inca trail and earlier this year Kristin and I did just that.

I hope you enjoy this photo! It will be the first of many more to come! I hope 🙂

Beautiful! What an awesome experience. Thanks for reminding me to SRG (Slow down, Reflect, and Give thanks) 😉

Love it. Looks like an amazing place to see. And so true, our lives get so busy that our vision of why we are truly here gets blurred. Thanks for the reminder. Looking forward for the rest of the images.
