Sand Boarding in the Atacama Desert, Chile

Today’s Adventure Wednesday comes to you from the Atacama Desert located in Northern Chile. We originally made the trek out here because we heard that the stargazing was unheard of (which it was). What we didn’t know was how beautiful the terrain was as well! Sand Boarding has always been on my bucket list and I was so excited to find out that this is one of the best places to do it. What blew my mind is that we were boarding at nearly the same elevation as Mammoth and yet we were on sand dunes wearing shorts and tank tops! We had an amazing time and would very much recommend this place for everybody! Happy Travels!
